APK Files for android market?

I was wondering if it was possible to download Android market apps APK files (as opposed to installing them) I need this for the Android emulator.

Install them to your phone, use titanium backup to backup apks. There you have them. Not sure if the paid ones would work though.

They won't if the user isn't logged in to the market with the account that downloaded them.
