I have an LG Volt and from what I understand the quick remote app that comes with your phone does a lot more than the quick remote app that comes with my phone.
I was wondering if someone could give me the apk so I could see if it runs on the volt.
The only way I've gotten it to work outside of a stock G2 (since I'm running an AOSP ROM) is to sideload it, but it does require being rooted. I can't even say it would work on another device, but you could give it a shot. [APP] QuickRemote IR Blaster for AOSP roms - xda-developers
Yeah, I just found this out today. Why did LG ship a crippled version of the QuickRemote app with the volt?
Is this just an example of purposely removing features to make higher end models look better\more functional? All I want is the universal remote builder!
Being able to program 6 different models of TV's does not count as a remote app LG!!
