I recently found this site which allows you search for .APK's by name or category, then DL them directly using a PC, instead of having to "log in" to Play, etc with your phone. You then copy the file to your phone & run/install it. Saves on phone data usage. https://apkcombo.com/category/

I'd be worried about security. Only a couple places I feel good about when it comes to apps going on my devices.

Of course, you still have to be careful with app selection, but the apps themselves are the same ones found on Play. Many of which obviously SUCK on multiple levels.
