Help APN options not available

Lurker
I have a galaxy s5, I recently moved from the states to south korea, after I put in the new sim card I had to change the apn settings but, when I go into settings>more networks>mobile networks there is no option to select access point names? literally the option isn't there, I contacted Samsung and they had no answer, I contacted cellcom(cellular company out of Wisconsin) and they have no answer. Just wondering if anyone can explain or help me out with this or should I just get a new phone. Thanks

Phone was supplied by Cellcom? Likely they customized or locked it, so can't change the APN. Think your options might be flash the ROM to something that isn't fixed to one carrier, or buy a new phone possibly.

yes I bought the phone from cellcom. thanks for your help, I don't know much about phones but I thought it was just extremely odd that its just non existant

i recently experienced that kind of problem from lenovo a288t... all you need to do is to
1. root your device
2. download root explorer
3. go to the build prop
4. change gsm to gsm/wcdma. it will no longer need apn but it will browse.. i think that will do.
