App copyright

Your app was taken down for copyright infringement? What did you actually use from Flaticon?

Like if an app used some of these from Flaticon, it might have copyright problems from Nintendo, Namco, Rovi, etc.

No i use Sweet icon and candy icon im not use any company icon i get copyright from google play store ???

I looked at your game, looks aright. However are you using Flaticon with a Premium License(paid) or Free license? Because according to Flaticon's ToS, with Free License you must give attribution for any graphics you use, and I couldn't see any attributions in your game. Of course it could something else, like maybe a graphic is on Flaticon without the copyright holder's permission.

Free License (with attribution)
This license allows you to use for free any of Flaticon contents for your projects as long as they are
attributed to their author in the definitive project.

How to attribute contents?
• For web usage: By placing a link with the text "designed by {Author's Name} from Flaticon" in a
visible spot, so the author's authorship is noticeable

Thing is with the sweets and candy graphics, or indeed any content from Flaticon. How do we know they(Flaticon) even have the rights to distribute some of them? Some of the games graphics from Flaticon I posted earlier are definitely not free, like Angry Birds or Mario.

Content might have been originally sourced from something that isn't free, like say a commercial clip-art library, e.g. Adobe. And possibly them who's filed the copyright infringement claim against your game.

Thank you if I type attribution im not get copyright because from flat icon license say type design by from flat icon. Ithink that’s for copyright

I'm not 100% sure I understood your last post correctly. You won't get copyright to these icons, but that's not the question. The question is whether you are using them with the agreement of the copyright holder and in accordance with their terms.

The bit of the license after the text Mike quotes says:
• Uses different to web: If possible, the text "designed by {Author's Name} from Flaticon" must be written next to Flaticon Contents, if it's not possible, the attribution must be placed in the credits or acknowledgements section
So have you done that in your app? That seems to be the minimum needed to comply with Flaticon's terms, and so if you have not provided the attribution as described there within your app then you are in breach of Flaticon's terms. If you used an image containing these icons in your Play Store listing I would suggest playing safe and making sure that the attribution was visible there as well.

Of course that assumes that Flaticon themselves have the copyright holder's permission to allow re-use of the icons in this way. Flaticon claim to do so, but if the image is based on someone else's copyrighted design then unless they have obtained that person or company's permission for this you (and they) could still be in breach of copyright. To pick an example (one you say you are not using), if you were to use the Mario icon and Flaticon do not have Nintendo's agreement to authorize you to use an image of that character then you would be in breach of copyright no matter what Flaticon's terms say (and of course they would be as well for distributing it in that way). This is what Mike was explaining above: that the objection could have come from Flaticon or it could have come from some other company that thinks it holds the copyright to the image you used. Unless Google told you who objected you cannot know which, but you can at least make sure you comply with Flaticon's terms.

I think you need to be absolutely sure that Flaticon have the rights to distribute those candy and sweets icons, and that they were not pinched from another non-free copyrighted source, like e.g. Adobe. Like it could have been a company like Adobe who filed the copyright claim against your app? We've already seen that not all content from Flaticon is theirs, e.g. Mario, Pac-man, Angry Birds, etc.

There are public domain clip-art and icon libraries, such as https://openclipart.org/ Where they all should be completely free and are able to use in whatever projects you like, without risk of infringing copyright.
