App Data?

Im curious as to where app data is stored such as progress in games or login information on apps such as pandora, im curious bc i dont wana have to start over when i flash new roms and stuff, i figure its stored somewhere but not sure where, is there a location i can find it at so i can copy it onto sd and transfer it to new roms? Thanks in advance, sorry if this isnt the correct place to post this thread..

Use titanium backup to back up the app data so you can restore it after you flash
