App downloads don't work

Hi,

I always noticed that "Market" app downloads sat for a long time in the "Downloads" queue, hung at "Starting download...", but the download would eventually start.

Now that I changed countries and removed the SIM card, downloads don't work at all. They always hang at "Starting download". It isn't a networking problem, as search works and a different set of apps is visible (probably related to the country switch).

What is the problem?

No idea what is causing your problem per se, but have you tried resetting your device? Also, you can clear the data (settings, applications, manage applications, all), then log back in to see if that helps.

Without SIM card in my phone I can use the apps on my phone.
But I'm not able to download new apps from market.
