App for dialing by voice doesn't recognize a contact

I try to use an app, i forgot it's name now, that enables to say the contact's name (one of the contacts in the phone address book) and the mobile will dial the number.
I had a contact who's name was in hebrew. i changed to an english name so the app. will read it, then tried to say the new name. the app. said it's not in the contact list.
What i try to do is use the mobile in the car, where i can't touch it.
I enabled voice commands in android, it's written there that i have to say "answer" and "reject", but i can't use it. how?

May I ask what device are you using and if it's an Android you can always use Google Assistant to make calls for you.

Samsung S6. i don't want Google Assistant since here i am not allowed to take my hands off the wheel, especially not to the phone.
And i don't know to use it, i tried to make a phone call with it, i can't, don't know how.
But the S Voice App is great, it works, but i can't end a conversation and i can't answer or reject a call. i can just call people on my contact list.
I enabled Answering and ending calls, which is in the Accessibility section. there it's written i must say "Answer" to answer. i say but nothing.

Have you tried Galaxy app called Car Mode?

I have an old, 2005, Fiat, and i think it's not supported.
But i don't need all these capabilities, i just want to answer or reject calls, like it's supposed to do after i enabled these functions in the phones operating system. how to use them?
