App for open stream IP?

Hi Android lovers and users!

Wow, I've looked almost everywhere and still can't find an answer. So, maybe you guys can help me out.

I'm looking for an Android app for my HTC Desire HD to open a stream IP. I got my laptop and my HTC in my Wifi-network. On my laptop I'm streaming music to an IP (via Virtual DJ), 192.168.50.100/VirtualDJ.MP3. Now I would like to open that IP on my phone. Applications such as Winamp, Windows Media player etc. on other laptops in my network can already open that stream, but I can't find an application for my HTC that can open internal IP's and play the stream.

It seems like I'm the only one trying this, since I can't find a thing about this subject on Google.

Second, short question: What is a good app to open music files that are on my laptop? The same as Windows Media Player, but since WMP doesn't recognize my external HD, I'm looking for another app for this too.

Thanks for your answer. Great app to replace the streaming functions of HTC in combination with Windows Media Player. Thanks!

This player doesn't support IP streams, so I hope there is an app for that too.

I use TVersity Media Server. Works great with the default HTC Music app. (Connected Media)

VLC Media Player (desktop) with VLC Direct (Android app) also works great.
