App for resizing photos for wallpaper???

I have a Droid X and when I take a photo in portrait mode, it looks nice and sharp on my screen...I can see the entire photo and it is perfect. Then when I try to set it as my wallpaper, it forces me to crop in on the photo which kills the quality. I just want to use the whole photo so it looks JUST like the screen right after I snap the photo. Are there any apps out there that will let me do that? Seems stupid to have to offload the photo onto a PC, resize it to 960x854, and then upload it back to the phone to that it will fit perfectly.

PicSay Pro can resizing photos.

But the question is: Do you need all the other features of PicSay? :)

I actually purchased PicSay Pro a couple of weeks ago and then returned it for a refund. It says it can do red eye removal but in fact it just places black dots over the eyes and makes the people look very strange. Maybe I need it for the resize option. As an aside, is there a better app for redeye removal?

Even for my PC, I haven't found a program that performs a GOOD redeye removal. So I always do redeye manually. :)
