App for viewing large PDF?

My work just purchased for me a XOOM tablet for taking pictures and documenting issues on a construction site. I would also like to have the ability to view large PDF drawings on it as well. I have several hundred architectual drawings that were scanned in, they measured 48"x30" before I scanned them in and are appoxamately 1.5 to 2.5 MB in size. I have tried with several PDF viewing applications to open them and zoom in, all crash as they require too much memory. When using Adobe's application a dialogue comes up saying "OUT OF MEMORY".

Does anyone know of a way to be able to convert theese PDF's into a more tablet friendly format or know of an application that will allow me to view large architectual drawings on my XOOM?

Surely I'm not to only one who wishes to use an android tablet in the construciton idustry for viewing drawings.

Thank You in advance.

I use PDF To Go (part of Documents To Go) often for files 7-10MB and even larger on a not-the-most-powerful phone with no problem.

I use RepliGo Reader, ezPDF Reader and Mantano Reader for PDF's up to 200MB.

The difference between the readers (only) with such big PDF's:
RepliGo and ezPDF load fast but have to render before you can read the page.
Mantano load for a long, long time but give you a rendered page right away :)
