Help [App Help] Jorte Calendar Disappeared

I use Jorte for my calendar. I thought all the events I entered on my phone were set up to sync back to my google calendar (it's been quite some time since I set it up), but now looking at my Google Calendar, none of my appointments are there and they have all suddenly disappeared from my calendar. I believe all the events I created went into the calendar called HTC Sync Manager.

This all happened when I downloaded a couple other calender apps to try out and messed with the settings so that I could use them without synching with any current calenders. Not sure what I did exactly, but now I have lost all of my appointments. I really need to figure this out as these are business appointments that apparently are not backed up with the google calender. Help!

The first thing to check is whether they are actually in a calendar called HTC Sync Manager still. Open Jorte, go into the setting where you select the list of calendars it displays and see whether HTC Sync Manager has been deselected (or just select every calendar you can see). Do the appointments reappear if you select it?

The thing is, you naturally assume that when a calendar app lets you choose which calendars to display that choice only affects that particular app, but actually it's a system-wide setting (except where an app has a private calendar of its own). So if I deselect one of my calendars in one of my calendar apps, none of the others will display it either. Hopefully that's all that's happened here: in trying to stop the other apps syncing your current calendar you deselected it in the other app, and hence it's also been deselected in Jorte. In which case it's still there, just not currently being displayed.

Yes, it is checked and should be displaying, but it is not. I do however think that what you are talking about with the system-wide setting is exactly what happened. I deselected it in another app and saw it disappear, so I went back and re-selected it and it did come back the first time, but apparently I changed something else in another calendar app after that and it didn't come back again. Is it possible that the events were deleted somehow? Or is some setting still wrong somewhere? Any ideas on how to get it to display again?
