What you might not know is that 99.5% of these queries are about just that: someone sees an icon they don't recognise on their partner's screenshot, worries that it's a dating app, and decides to ask the internet (either because they don't want to ask their partner, for whatever reason, or don't believe the answer they got). So it's become the default assumption that any query about icon identification has a story like that behind it, because most of the time they do (though I couldn't imagine that a dating app using MalwareBytes' slightly sinister-looking "M" as its logo would be terribly successful ).
