App icons moving instead of opening app

Every time I go to open an app on my phone, instead of opening the app the icon wiggles and then nothing. I have to tap the icon 3 or 4 times before it will stop acting like it thinks I am trying to move it and actually opens the app.

I would think it would be designed the other way around. To move an icon you would need to press and hold onto the icon for at least a second or two, and then you could move it. Not trying to move with just a brief tap.

Is there a way to change the delay on moving icons to it only tries to move it I press and HOLD on the icon?

Have a look in the Accessibility options within settings and look for Interaction and Dexterity and you should find Touch Settings.

Have a play with the timings in there and see if it helps.

Exactly where you said it would be. And it was set to .5 seconds. I changed it to 1.5 seconds.
