App idea but dont know where to start

Hi everyone

I have an idea for an app but dont know how to do it, I have very little knowledge about making apps so not sure how difficult it would be and if its just to advanced.

the general idea is for the app to access a password protected website which has data from a map I want the app to display all the data from the website, I want the app to give a notification when certain events are tiggered within a set distance from the users location based on gps, I would like the option of the notification to be speech output or sound and for the distance to be set by the user.

Any advice please.

It's a challenging project, that's for sure.
