App install password protected

Can anyone advise me if there is an app or a method available that will require a user to enter a password to authenticate an app to be installed on a Samsung Galaxy S8+

There's a 'Parental control' option buried in the Settings menu in your phone's Play Store app:

If that doesn't quite fit your needs and you want something more extensive, look into installing Google's 'Family Link'
