Help App Installer Keeps on Popping Up..

I get these app installer (Phone Pe, Eight, etc) which keep on popping up at regular intervals. They have two options, either Install and Cancel.

These installers pop up at random occasions when i am surfing on my phone or playing a game. How do i close this? its very irritating.

It is related to one of the Apps that i use?

P.s. I had recently factory reset my phone due to this error and it stopped for few days. But it has started again.

Load Google Play
On the home page tap the three bars at the upper left corner
Tap settings
Tap Auto-update apps
Select Do not auto-update apps

With this turn off you will have to periodically visit My Apps and Games and hit the button to test if there are any updates.

Will it also stop these pop-ups to install an App?

The pop-up may be related to a website you visit. Open your default internet browser and clear both history and cookies. Then go to the phone settings and find apps>[your browser]>storage and clear the apps cache. That should stop the pop-ups if it's from your browsing history.

Is there a way to attach screenshots?

I tried the above methods but still get app install pop-ups as well as ads.

If you're using the website, when you are composing a message, to the right of the "post" button you should see an option to upload a file. If you are using the app, tap on the paperclip icon,

Do you have ES File Manager installed?
Do you have Clean Master installed?

It has been years but I remember that this is one of the "features" they had.

The solution is to uninstall them (for that and many other reasons).
