App Market

Is anyone else having any problems downloading from the App Market? I have about 15 apps that have updates to them and nothing will download. I have also tried to download something else in the market with no luck. This has been going on for about 3 days now. I am on a Droid running 2.1. I have also tried to flash a stock ROM to the phone and still no luck.

Are you getting a "Low Space" notification?
I was having problems installing some apps on my Incredible and after seeing that notification - I uninstalled some redundant home screen, browser & notes apps - and the problem disappeared. It's probably best to sort your downloaded apps by size in Settings>Applications>Manage Apps? Filter - Downloaded & sort by size. At least that's how it works on the Inc. You can also sort in AppBrain.
Get rid of the largest expendable apps first.
Hope this helps!

No, I'm not getting a low space message. I have plenty of space on the phone's internal memory. I just can't download anything at all from the market.

You still might want to take a shot at uninstalling one big app or a couple of smaller apps that you can easily reinstall - just to check - cuz my phone storage showed like 6.25GB available (out of 6.6GB) when I got my low space message.
Other than that, I'd Google Droid Market download problems and see what comes up. Or, you can install from Appbrain or PandaApp's 91 PC Suite (you have to change the language to English post-download ;-) or download to your computer and connect via USB.
All of which, I realize are a pain in the butt compared to T.H.E. Market.

I've come to the conclusion that it is nothing on my phone that is causing this issue. It is my google account. I am able to download apps from the market using a different account after a hard reset on the phone. When I try to use my original account I still get the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this issue with my google account?

When I use the Appbrain app it just sends me to the market...if the app is not in my market due to country restrictions or whatever, it wont download.

I would imagine if you cant use the market app, using the appbrain app wont fix the problem.

I should have specified that you can login to appbrain.com and it will let you view your installed apps & sort them by size & install new apps - although I haven't actually done it that way myself. But it's also a good way to view your installed apps by category as well as a good resource.
I do wish they'd let you sort the apps by ratings & downloads though.
