Hi
I'm looking for a way to create an icon that would, when clicked on, make and emergency phone call to 112 or send a pre-filled SMS to a given phone number.
My current car, a Citroen C3 Picasso, was supposed to have two buttons that would create the actions above but that option is apparently not available outside of France for this model. I therefore use my Android 4.2.1 Smartphone in a holder on my Dashboard. It would be nice if I could create these buttons as icons on the device.
Is there any existing app that would do that or can one be created?

I actually think this is a great idea, but not sure if it hasn't been done already.
However, I will take a look when I've got some time in the next few weeks.

I'll keep you posted if and when I'm gonna work on it.

I developed powerCall a while ago to call my wife without unlocking the phone using power button triple click. It is not exactly the same as what you ask, but let me know if it does the trick for you. Free in the Play Store.
