App not recognized correctly

I had screen mode widget installed and it was not working correctly, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall. I went to market and it displays it as installed but it does not give me an option to open or uninstall which is the other button. The two options show up on the bottom but they are light grey and do not function. Has anyone had this problem with another app and where you able to resolve?

Have you tried it after powering your phone on and off? The "open" option will remain greyed out as there is no freestanding program, only a widget. As for why you can't uninstall, that is strange. I had similiar problems a while back with a couple of programs and used one of the free uninstallers which seemed to work.

Yes I did try power cycling. When I try the quick uninstaller it is not in the list. Is there a way to search where the file may be?
