App notifications delay

Is anyone else having problems with delayed notifications since the Android 9 update? I seem to be running up to 5 minutes delayed.
 
I've seen that mentioned a time or two, and it sounds like it's likely an issue with an app which hasn't been updated to comply with Android 9's new background process restrictions. If you can narrow it down to specific apps which exhibit this behavior you should reach out to those developers to see if they are aware and working on a fix.

Thanks, Codesplice. I figured that might be the problem as I'm getting a lot of notices that the apps are behind the OS now.
