Help app problem or pixel problem? nexus 7

i've been using the markers app on my nexus 7, 32gb.

recently i noticed a faint vertical line appearing while i'm drawing. i've narrowed it down to one particular brush on the transparent setting. i'm hoping its an app problem and not a dead or dying pixel as i've only had my tablet a couple months. but it only appears in the same spot. when i save my drawing or take a screen shot you can still see it so i'm thinking it's more of an app problem. i've already uninstalled & reinstalled the app. any other ideas how to fix it?

If it shows up in a screenshot, it's not a pixel. Pixels are part of the physical screen, screenshots capture the picture that should be displayed.
Also, if it's only reproduced under such specific circumstances in one app, you can be pretty sure it's the app itself that's causing it.
What you can do is send a bug report to the developer.
