The Android Market has a feature that allows you to see screenshots of the app. You may not notice this because it's only available in the Market for those running 1.6 or above.
Did you know the Android Market also has a refund policy? You could download any app or game and you have a full 24 hours to try it out. If you don't like it you could get a refund in a couple of clicks.
