App that streams any audio from PC to Android via WiFi

Hi, I'm looking for an app that will stream my PC audio via WiFi to my android phone, which is a HTC Wildfire. I'm not just talking about music/media, I mean ANY audio, this is because i would like to use the nice speakers on my phone to pretty much create a wireless speaker for my PC.

is your mobile rooted..? if yes then try to use CIFSmanager to map share folder of your computer to one of the empty folder in your phone
and use that folder to paly file...

my phone is not rooted i have not tested... but many other using it...

and hope you will find other solution over here as I am looking for same solution
but with out rooted phone... over there

Audiogalaxy works brilliantly.

But it's only gonna let you do your music library. But I will say what you are looking for is more a PC app than it is an Android one. Your Droid is already capable of having audio streamed to it. But how does one stream from a PC? Anyway I can't help you with that part.

jamcast is EXACTLY what im looking for, but its really expensive, is there any other cheaper alternatives?

You can try microsoft's free windows media encoder. This worked for me for a while until something else changed on my computer
