App to back up apps?

hi everyone, I am a recent android convert from the iphone (Got tired of 'closed source' :) )

Anyway, I have a droid and I like it a lot. However, I may be looking to trade it up for a droid X when it comes out. My question is, how can I back up all my apps and everything to make the cleanest switch possible to a new phone?

I know that the cloud stuff will just be there, but what about everything else?

Thanks in advance, this question has probably been answered before but I couldn't find it by searching.

MyBackup Pro that is in the market can back up all your apps and your data, and run a schedule for it, I run backups at 2am each morning

But when you move your someone@gmail.com address to the new phone, chances are your apps will download to the new phone, without the data though

What I did after running a new ROM, was to back it up, run the new installation, wait for the apps to automatically load, and items that I wanted to restore the data I did it with that app.

Just make sure that your backups are in the new microsd card
