App to delay notifications from specific apps?

I have a first world problem. I'm in a WhatsApp group which is buzzing with comments when football games are in progress. The problem is that most of us are watching the game on the internet, with various different time delays. Hence we frequently get advance warning of goals etc before we actually see them.

Is there an app which can delay notifications from a specified app for a specific time period (e.g. 2 minutes)?

Ummm, dunno about an app but why not just switch off/silence your phone during the match .... ?

I want to participate in the conversation, I just don't want the advance warning of the goals

Not that I'm aware of. I know Whatsapp can mute but not delay individual group message notifications. While you're watching the game, could just mute group notifications for the duration I guess, and obviously don't look in on the group.
