App to find someone on google maps

a long time ago someone posted about an app that allows you and a friend to both be visible in the google maps app. With it you could find each other easily. does anyone remember the name of this app?

It's called Latitude and it's already part of Google Maps.

that's what it does! that wasn't the app i had in mind, and I'm honestly embarrassed i didn't know about it, but it does what i need
