App to Recieve Calls(No Plan) Wifi

Is there any apps or tutorials to Receive calls(have Phone number) on my Ascend 2 via Wifi. I have no Phone plan which means i have no phone number right now...
I can make calls over wifi but i want to be able to receive them.

You can use Google Voice and GrooVeIP (about $5 for the app) - this routes calls via Gmail, and is free is the US for now.

You'll need to be signed out of gmail and have Goove Voice setup to forward calls to your gmail.

Also welcome to AF :)

Any tutorials? im sure i have seen one but i thought you needed a Phone plan do so..
cause in order to activate google voice dont i need a number?

You need some kind of existing number, it could be a home/landline though.

You can also set it to not forward calls to that number. But you will need access to a number at least once for setting it up.

there should be a ton of tuts out there how to use Google Voice and GrooVe IP as a VOIP setup - but I dont know of any off the top of my head.

so can i connect it to my landline and then have another number that will call my cell phone only and still call the landline from its original number?
