app to send/receive emails via phone typing on my PC

I am using PDAnet to connect my pc to internet. It works great. The soft has also a nice feature : I can send/receive txt messages using my PC. Now can u do the same with emails ? Is there some lil app I can install on my PC and phone that will connect to my phone and allow me to send/receive emails ? (At work I have all mail domains blocked (gmail.com or yahoo.com ) I am using G2 (Tmobile). I would like to be able to type/read on my PC though not touching the phone atall

If you set up your work email account on your phone you could send the message to yourself in your work account, then copy the message and paste it in your phone GMail account and send to whomever.

Are you using the paid PDAnet? I think those emails service all use SSL, which, if I remember correctly, is not part of the free PDAnet.

the idea is not to touch my phone at all and still be able to send emails via some smart app ..just like I do with txts ...PDAnet gives me opportunity to send receive texts via my phone ..but I am typing on my PC screen ..so it looks like I am working on something ;-))

PDAnet is just an example I used to provide a description of functionality I am looking for. yes you cannot use PDAnet to send receive emails .. however if I found an app I can use just like PDAnet to send receive emails ... I am willing to pay $100 for that ;-)

I'd like to see the rest of h...nm.

Getting this back on topic, I've adjust the title so we don't have any body part fetishists start commenting in here....

@OP - I just thought of something - if you're using PDANet to connect your PC to the internet (bypassing your company's firewalls and such) then your PC should be able o send email to those domains anyway. Your PC is no longer going through their firewall.

correct..however I need to switch back and forth (disable ethernet, enable pdanet) to check/receive emails. that's a little annoying. also for some reason why I am on pdanet I am unable to go to gmail.com ...i can go o other webpages ...there might be something in corporate settings of the browser that blocks the page ?

Possible, although it's strange that your company would have both firewall blocking *and* website blockage in each and every user account - maybe it's because of people like you trying to do personal stuff at work? :p (j/k)

You could always use a program like Thunderbird on your PC to access your GMail account when you're tethered.
