app to take screen shots HTC One V

Is there an app that works on HTC One V to take capture screen shots? My phone is not rooted. I see apps out there, but either say for rooted phones only, or HTC is not listed in supported devices. Thanks!

ICS has screenshot capabilities built in.

I am not sure of the specific keys you need to press, but on my device power+volume down is what takes a screenshot. If it's not the same for the One V, I am sure someone else will know what you need to press.

doh - a quick google search and i found the answer. Always google first! Ah well, maybe the thread will help someone else.

Press and hold POWER and then press

The screen is saved in the Camera shots album in Gallery.

I didn't see that funny icon when I held power button but I held power and volume down and it worked!

it's the home button on the bottom, not on the screen iteself -

After searching more, I see that Power + volume down also works.

Volume down + power or power + home button... both work

The power home combo is supposed to save in a different place so I haven't tried that one but I use the home volume allot

The power+volume down method does not work on my phone, but the power+home definitely does.

You have to hold it down for a few seconds. It will work, it's just not immediate.
