App updates

Apart from the notification bar, where else is there a record of uninstalled app updates?

As far as a record of updates the only thing I know is in the Android Market. Once you hit the app and you are on the first screen, hit the menu key and then "my apps". This will only give you updates on apps you have purchased and uninstalled, but since you bought them they will always be yours. I hope this help

Yep, when you go to the Market, hit the menu key and choose My Apps. If you have any updates pending, they will be at the top of the screen. There are two types, manual and automatic. I always hit where is says (random just for example) 6 updates available. That way those install by themselves. Then I install the Manuals, one at time.
