App Wanted

I recently bought a Nexus 5. My only other cell was a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini which a nephew now has. I want an app that will give me easy access to a few of the settings such as data acquisition, synching, remaining battery, location, and others. I would ideally like to choose which settings I want to appear but a general menu of settings might be adequate.

Have you tried using the quick settings menu? It has most of those things built in. You can get to it via a two finger swipe from the top, or clicking the top right icon when in your notification pane.

Yes, but thank you. The features I use most often require the swipe, touch the icon, touch the settings icon, and going into settings for more touching.

On my Samsung the "quick settings" appeared with a swipe--like notifications on the Nexus 5--and I could stop data downloads when away from WiFi and make other changes quickly.

So far, I like the Nexus 5 very much.

Power toggles is that app you most likely want, I also came from the S3 and used that at the beginning as I too missed the quick toggles.

I used to use that too, before I had quick settings. It works well
