App which will find most rated news...?

Looking for app which will find news based on rating. Dont wanna read everything, just the important and interesting stuff, so it would be good if news are rated by people. Thanks
 
Who's ratings do you trust? I personally find that the stuff that's most popular/highly rated is usually of less importance and less interest to me than articles picked at random would be.
 
news.google.com and login, then set your Preferences up.
a bit detailed, but that is the single best news source I have found.

a year ago, we had a County feud going on locally.....
set Google to watch my county and boom!
I could get the news, before it was news anywhere else locally.

^^^^^ this! I'd rather make up my own mind than rely on other people's.
