app2SD: when applications will support it?

Hello guys,

Finally android 2.2 a.k.a froyo is officially announced. But when the other applications will updated to support app2SD feature of android 2.2. Even google's official applications does not support it.

Please post the application that you know have an app2SD support.

Im waiting for this too. App developers need to start updating their apps to allow installation to SD. The only official google app that supports SD installation at the moment is google skymap.

What we can do is email all our app devs and persuade them to allow installation to SD. Hopefully when enough people have done that they will begin to do so.

Yes you're right.. The most awaited feature of android was app2SD support. Now it is available officially but nobody care to update their app. I think it's only one change in a xml file.

You also have to understand that by moving certain apps into SD you may cause instability. In some instances the app might not start up properly at all. They may also cause some unexplained conflicts with other apps, making troubleshooting more difficult. Im sure these are some reasons why app developers are hestitating to allow their apps to be moved to SD, so they can prevent all the thousands of emails regarding troubleshooting errors with their apps.
