AppBrain or maybe just a Bluetooth Sync Question

My Eris syncs with AppBrain through wi-fi just fine, however it does not sync through Blueooth. I noticed that when I tried to transfer a pic from my vista 64 PC to the Eris, I get a fail to send message with the following:
"If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed."

Do I have an issue with the sync partnership between my Eris and my PC on Bluetooth? Thanks in advance for any help.

Due to a security issue bluetooth file transfer was disabled in the 1.5/1.6 ROMs, only allowing connection with audio equipment. I believe this is resolved in the 2.0+ ROMs.
