Sorry for a possibly dumb question, but What is Appflash suppose to do? It seems like it does nothing but I must be missing something. I thought I'd ask before disabling it.

I don't know that you can fully get rid of it - but I don't like it either.

I turned that off and put my calendar there. If I had any other issues I'd buy trying out a new launcher on the V40.

I turned it off by hitting "Uninstall" in Google Play. It says it will remove the updates. But when I check the App manager on my phone, it's gone. Like it was completely uninstalled. Strange, but fine with me. (I am using Nova Prime For my launcher so maybe that has something to do with it)
 
I love the ability to change apps, (as well as hide them), on Nova. The first thing I found, though, was the ability to lock the desktop. I was forever moving apps around on the screen on some of my older devices.
 
I kept moving them around by accident. And I couldn't stand the limitations of Android 4. Backing up and restoring works pretty well too.
