Apple airplay for Android?

Apple Airplay seems quite impressive and it is possible that it might gain some momentum. As an owner of both Android and Apple products I'm thinking that it would have been great if it was possible for Android devices to support the protocol to send/receive audio/video either trough the OS or an application. I suspect that there might be both legal and technical obstructions.

What do you think - Will there be AirPlay support for Android?

It's a proprietary thing so any support you find for it will be from 3rd party sources. I wouldn't be surprised if there's already something out there. Have you looked?

Yeah, I agree. They have remote options for Android, why not Airplay too?

Found an app on this today "doubleTwist AirSync" an Apple TV site just reviewed it.
