Apple CEO disses Samsung Galaxy Tab

That's alright... look at it this way when it comes to Tablet sales... How many people buy tablets then think about how many people KNOW about tablets and Operating Systems? More people buy tablets that don't know about them than the people that buy and DO know about them so they are going to go to the one that they see and hear more about when it comes to word of mouth. I love the iPad and all but honestly I would rather have an android device over Apples. A lot of the people buying the iPad don't know anything about tablets except for the one they hear about most so they buy in. A lot of the would end up liking an Android Tablet better but they don't know about them... but there are also a lot of people that would still all be happy that they bought an iPad an android even if they did know about them. Both pruducts phenomenal but me personally, I like the customization and what u can do with Android like rooting, CWMing, and ROMing.
 
Obviously I agree that the iPad is not "all that," but Apple has a couple of distinct advantages. They were first to market, and they are clever about marketing the product. They not only use direct ads, but get the media to advertise for them... for free! When is the last time you saw an advertisement for an android tablet... ever?
 
apple was not first, microsoft has had tablets (not $$ fesible) for a long time. A lot of doctors and people like that use them.

apple succedes because of exactly what you said.

its just like Bose for home audio. everyone thinks they are they best. but to an audiophile like me its low end junk. there is much better, but because of the way they started a lond time ago, they word of mouth started and people dont shop for anything else. if they shopped they would find better, for half the price.
 
Yes sir i would have to agree about the home audio... perfect example. Just like me and being a national competitor in Car Audio. I personally know that Kicker and JL Audio are GARBAGE compared to a LOT of other names for a much lower price tag. A subwoofer box means a LOOOOOT on how audio performs in the same way that marketing plays a key role in Tablet sales. Now like I said, I personally like the iPad and all but I would much rather have the Android platform. Good device but I enjoy this better. I would like to see how well the iPads Quad Core GPU performs though definitely.
 
How true is that chart that shows that the ipad 2 is better than tegra 3? And same for the comparison with A5 chip and A5x?

Well I am pretty sure that number wise it may beat the Tegra 3 but I am thinking it is a strict "Possibility" and not a " you will see a 4-6 times better performance enhancement over the..." type deal. Could be wrong though honestly

nvidia has already asked apple to prove it.

with how many pixels the new ipad will have, it will need it.


epayne123- im still running a pair of kicker comps that i got back in highschool, from the 90's... and your right, amps and boxes. i would take a crap sub with a great amp and box over a $500 sub with a junk amp.
