Interesting, i imagine Apple will be selling a metric Fu## ton of iphones if they go to all networks. I'll probably stick with my Android phone though.

Good for them. I still prefer not to be stuck with Apples "Thou shalt not tinker" attitude, though.

But, for all the folks carrying iPods and phones, they'll be happy.

And there will be buttloads of iPod touches on eBay and craigslist....

If Verizon does get it this fall I will probably pick it up under the condition that insurance will be offered. I don't see it happening seeing as how successful the iPhone has been without it (other than personal articles insurance).

well i like my eris but i am carrying around a first gen ipod touch ... not only is it one more thing to carry around but it also is a later model ... i might just change due to the convenience of it. it will be hard to part with my amazing eris but you gotta do what you gotta do. it will be a bitter-sweet day

you know, not everyone that has a iphone is a fanboy....would you appreciate if everyone ran around calling us google fanboys and omg they are such tools, and they are going to ruin our network? probably not....

In the UK since operator O2 lost their exclusivity it seems all the other networks are allowed to sell it. Currently O2 , Orange and Vodafone do with T-mobile sticking strong with Android.

My carrier seems to favor the iphone when it comes to Android though, i.e creating apps for the iphone and leaving Android users behind..... giving a higher FUP for those with the iphone etc.
