Application for secure my Samsung ACE

Hi,

I would like to be prepared for lost / steal my Samsung ACE:

1. What are the recommended applications for this?
2. My contacts are sync with Gmail. In a case someone steals my mobile and erase all of my contacts: How to make sure it will not erase my Gmail contacts, for backup?
