Apps Application List

Hey, currently in my program I have a list of all installed applications using getPackageManager().getInstalledApplications.

But when I do this i get many more applications than I need/want. How would i filter through them and only leave the ones from the app drawer?

I believe you want queryIntentActivities()

Set up an intent with "android.intent.action.MAIN" as the action and the "android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" category to pass.
