Help Application menu will not scroll

This menu, aka the Grid, will usually nopt scroll for me, no matter what dirfection I slide my finger. Any other meny scrolls fine. What direction or contorted gesture am I supposed to use? (Transform running Android 2.2)?

Just up and down. Try a factory restore or something. Possibly a defective phone, but I doubt it
