Help Application Not installed error when installing apk file

Hi i have a samsung galaxy S3 and i have a problem when i try to install any apps for example facebook it comes up with app not installed error is there anyway to fix this as it is really irritating i have tried everything but nothing seems to work
 
How much internal space is left? Can you install other apps? Is your playstore linked to your Gmail account?
 
0.92GB is left yes i can install other apps yes playstore is linked to my gmail account i think it is how can i check
 
I can install Facebook messenger but not the facebook app i think there is something wrong with the app because a few people have had problems with this app
 
I did a backup and restore and i now have Facebook working thanks anyway for all the help everyone
