Apps Application prices and compensation

I haven't seen it anywhere on the android website, at least as much as I have read, but what distinguishes how much an application costs?
Is that something the developer sets?

Also, how does the developer receive money once people buy their application? Does Android take any cut of that, such of 15% or every sale and the developer gets the rest?

Lastly, is the developer paid PER application sold? Or does he/she get a check once 100 are sold and every 100 after that? Is there any minimum at all that need to be bought by others in order for developers to be paid?

The application price is set by the developer. Google keeps 30% of the application price. Payouts to the developer are done at least once every few days, regardless of the developer's balance.

awesome, sounds good; so, just to double check, for example, if my application, being very pessimistic here, only sells 1 for a whole month for $1.00, I'll still be paid the $0.70?

Is that money taxed at all?

You're correct.

And the taxes are between you and your government. The money you get paid is income, however, and is treated as such.

yup, google's 30 percent isnt going to paying your taxes ha ha lol.

(when i read my sentence it sounds badly written, but then again its not lol)

By the way, if you need to do your android taxes, theres an app for that too lol, too bad its not free.

You get paid pretty much every day (maybe not Sat/Sun). Which is kind of annoying if you're only getting a couple bucks a day.

Weird, it doesn't say that on mine. Just:
