Application purchased on the Android Market

Hello,

After the first boot I set up the mandatory gmail account (e. g. john.smith@gmail.com) on my android based smartphone and went to android market to purchase the app. I purchased, downloaded and installed the application which was working fine.
After a couple of days I had to restore the factory data (factory reset) on my phone and after the reset I set up the diffrent gmail account (e. g. andy.newman@gmail.com) on the phone. I went to android market to redownload already purchased application without paying for it once again.
Because app was purchased with john. smith@gmail.com account I couldn't download it to my phone now set to andy.newman@gmail.com without paying for the app again.
Do you know how to download the app to my new gmail account without paying for it for the second time?

You can register the first gmail account to your phone, in addition to the second one you registered after the wipe.

Or, you can attempt to contact the developer, explain your situation, and they may switch the registration to your new google account.

I'm not sure how a dev would do that, but you should be able to have more than one account per phone although the primary (first) will be the one associated with the Market (AFAIK) as LaTuFu said.
