Application to lock messages

Hi, I was wondering if there is any privacy feature for messages.
I don't want to lock the whole phone, I just want my phone(HTC Hero Euro) to ask for password or pattern whenever I access messages.
Is there any application for that?

get a carrot app blocker, works great, you can lock three things with your free version

For Texts i'd use handcent you can use a pattern lock or password but it also gives u the option of having a lil black book for those personal contacts u won't see their texts in the notification bar or inbox

Really? I've never seen this in Handcent.
