Dear,

I am using Sony Miro with configuration of

-512 MB RAM
-2.2 GB Internal Memory
-800 MHz Cortex-A5 Processor

I am facing low performance issue frequently, I am tried different kind apps to improve performance, but not satisfied.
It may be due low configuration or high application usage,

I have two questions from my past three day’s analysis...

First one..

After I rebooted phone rebooted, I checked the RAM usage in setting it showing around 150 mb free memory and it showing some applications are running. (Default apps, Mail Apps, Go Launcher, Go SMS, etc...)

When the phone is performance is dead slow, I checked the RAM, it showing around 50 mb free memory and it showing apps what it shown on earlier scenario...

By both situations it showing same running apps, but I couldn't understand how the memories were wasted......

Second one...

Whenever I checking the RAM utilization, some application are always running.. Even I killed the app or force stop; again it came back, like Yahoo mail (Auto sync is off), Gmail, Hotmail, Go SMS, Go launcher.

Is there any way to set the apps as it run when the icon has clicked.......?

If anyone has solution, kindly revert to my mail ID [removed by mod]

Thanks in Advance,

Welcome to the guest forums!

Android memory management keeps certain apps open in order to open them faster and reduce battery usage by not opening and closing apps when they are called up. So, Android also closes programs in order to conserve memory, and it does this om its own.

You didnt mention what programs were lagging and when. That info would be helpful..

So, the answer is no.

I think this forum might help. Sony Xperia Miro - Android Forums
