Applications available from phone vs trying to preview them a pc

It may be me, but there seems to be many more applications available when I go to the market from my phone rather then from my pc. It would be nice to get an idea of what the applications are like and be able to send an email to the developers from a full sized key board once in a while. When I just went there I saw the same titles that were there before the phones were shipped but none of the applications that have come out since then.
Anyway if anyone knows where we can go to preview the apps using a full sized screen please let me know.
