Help Applications opening "by them self" ..

I've been playing around with my X10 for nearly a week now, and I'm truely impressed of the preformance compared to alot of other Smartphones.

I have a issue with the battery life tho, but I've noticed that the X10 randomly opens the following applications: Settings, "PlayNow", Moxier Mail and on rare occations Market.

Is there a way to fix this, other than installing a Program Manager to kill the apps every now and then ?
Also, have anyone found a way to improve the battey life without rooting the phone and installing "Setcpu" ?

This is an issue with android, not the phone itself. 2.1 makes it better but by no means fixes it.

The phone is set up to pull down your e-mails every 5 mins (or whatever you've set it to) so it will always fire up all mail software and Timescape whether you kill it or not

And it also does that if I havent set up Moxier at all ? Is it alright to just uninstall it, or is it used by the system ?

well, it sucks, but guess I have to live with it

Agree that this is a pain as it sure don't help battery life. I've uninstalled a lot of stuff I'd downloaded from market as a result.

Moxier can't be uninstalled. It would be off my phone by now if it could
