What exactly does " package file is invalid" mean? What can I do to repair or avoid this result? Thank you.

Are you trying to install from an .apk file? It sounds like it didn't finish downloading.

That app being downloaded or updated did'nt get to finish downloading because the error code popped up. "Package file is invalid. N II
